Test

Child psychologist Bertie Kingore developed a test to determine advanced thinking in children. I thought it was pretty interesting (plus I get to brag about my brilliant child):
So you give the child a piece of paper like the above and tell them to draw, using the lines provided. They can turn the paper any way they want.

Brooke's teacher gave it to her, and this is what hers turned out like:

The theory is that most kids will take the lines and such seperately and make four distinct pictures. Advanced thinkers will look for a way to incorporate all the lines into the same picture. I especially liked how she drew the person up on a ladder to make sense of the fact that her head was above the house. What a genius I have. I wonder what the other girls would draw?

I like the figure riding the lamp on the ocean. I would like to see the story behind that picture written out. I bet it is a good one!

I believe it's a fancy canoe or a gondola or something.
