Is there anyone who has known Amber and hasn't adored her? I've been lucky to have known her for so long, and especially to still be so close. Near the end of high school, I remember having a conversation with her about where we would be in 10 years and wouldn't it be sad if we didn't even know each other anymore? I'm pleased that 11 years later, my "BFF" lives just two blocks north of me :) Here's a read down memory lane in honor of Am-bear:

This is Bernat, the exchange student we had one year from Spain. (Two years actually, and the second year the Olympics were being held in Barcelona, his hometown. Amber got to go on a trip after high school with her mom to Hawaii. No, I wasn't put out for not getting invited..."My best friend went to Hawaii and all I got was this dumb postcard"
At OSU 1997, right around the time Robyn and I tricked her into making us a second strawberry pie and I first saw the wrath of Amber. After a thousand other pranks, that was the one that put her over the edge. I haven't had much fun since. Goodbye to the old days of fake broken ribs, crumbs in underwear, false accident reports, strewing undies all over motel rooms, grossing out to get a good gag, dares to run around Rae Ann's house with nothing but a smile on...the world seems a little less bright to me now.

That was too cool! I definitely had a little chuckle to myself. I forgot all about my crush on Bernat! Oh man, I really made a fool of myself over him! I love what I wrote about your big toe! So funny! I totally need copies of the pictures from Vegas. The picture of Natalia and I at the slot machine cracks me up.

Too funny. I love Amber. You both are so sweet. You 2 were inseparable in high school. What would we do without our BFF's. These pictures totally took me down memory lane. Allison, I have really enjoyed reading your blog and seeing pic's of your beautiful family. So glad that things are going well for you and Todd. Keep up the blogging!
You two make me laugh! Looking at all your stuff and memories makes me laugh and makes me a little sad that the one friend I had like that in high school no longer keeps in touch with me. It would be nice to reminice with her like that.... OH well at least I have good friends now! Thanks!
