Enchanted Forest (or "Poor Man's Disneyland")
We were determined to take a trip to the Enchanted Forest before the summer was out, but with the wedding and camping, we were running out of weekends fast! So we set the date and planned a whole family outing. The day before we were going to go, I gave each of the girls a list of chores they were supposed to get done in order to go. As was typical, Sophie wasted no time getting hers done, and Janelle was quick to follow Sophie's lead. Brooke laid around whining off and on, dawdling, distracting herself with other things to do...I reminded her periodically of the time, and
the consequence if she didn't get her things done. But what can I say, she's a procrastinator (she comes by it honestly, from Todd). I knew she would wait until the last 15 minutes then try to furiously get it all done. When the timer went off, she wasn't ready. Though it breaks my heart, sometimes that girl needs to go to the school of hard knocks to learn. So Todd stayed home
with her and Claire (who, it turned out, was sick that day anyway), and I got to go with Sophie and Janelle. It wasn't all a loss. The extra admission money went to ride tickets.
It's a terrible picture, but does anyone from Monmouth recognize Rebecca Wagner here as the princess?

And Robyn, remember when I was wondering why the father at my kids' school looked like Abraham Lincoln? I finally figured it out. It's his job. (cool job)

Super fun! You are such a good mom, it's so good to follow through on lessons like that, but I think I would fail. I'm a sucker.
That is too funny Ali. That's not seriously him is it? Cute pics. I can't believe how old Kristin looks. Yikes it makes me feel ancient. She is a beautiful girl though. Love ya Robyn
