Gorgeous Glacier National Park

On our return trip to Montana, we took the opportunity to visit Glacier National Park - truly one of the most breathtaking places on earth!

On the way - right at the end of listening to "Where the Red Fern Grows"...not a dry eye in the car
Claire had to bring in her little potty seat to EVERY rest stop we visited. She only halfway gets the idea, but she's excited about it, so we indulge her.
Claire giving me her default pose for the camera
Gravel angels - the lesser known, not as popular, version of snow angels

Sophie's brilliant choice for hiking footwear (she didn't have any tennis shoes that fit)

She's got her hiking stick, and she's ready to go!

It was paradise for my little rock collectors. They would've cleaned Glacier out if I hadn't stopped them.

Scenic purple undies hanging from a tree (there's gotta be a good story behind that!)
I was fighting a heart attack every time I looked at how close to the edge the trail was.

Janelle and Sophie were all about climbing every mountain and fording every stream ...(Brooke was good with the one big hike, she had no more ambitions after that)

Glacier is very pretty. I bet your kids loved the hiking. Walking sticks were very popular at Crater Lake too. I did not know people made gravel angels. Do you think Brooke can make this into a new fad? :)
