Our newest little family addition arrives today. I can't wait! I have to say, labor (reviewing and learning about what kind of dog to get) and delivery (the plane ticket) were a lot easier with her than with the other kids. The girls don't know about her yet, so it's going to the be the surprise of their life when they get home from school today! (will post that video as soon as I can) The only thing I worry about is that this girl will get totally spoiled - I'm a sucker for that wrinkly little face and those big, sad eyes!Tuesday, October 23, 2007

Holy cute!!! I can't wait to see the girls' reaction! Good luck with all the training.

Looks like you have new fun adventures ahead. Will be an outside or inside dog? Congrats?:)
I can't wait to meet the puppy! I hope Sophie gets to name her Shortie McShort short. Then I will feel like I have a namesake! (HA HA!) I think you should show up at school with her and tell the girls she followed you home and I guess well keep her!!!!
I love her! She is so cute! Oh they are going to be soooo excited!
When does your rat grow into a real dog?
That must be a Jef Hatch comment - she is NOT a rat dog! She won't get very big though. Big dogs = lots of food = lots of poop. She'll grow to be about 15 inches high at the shoulders I think. We want her for an inside pet, so no big, drooly, stinky dogs here, thank you very much.
