38 weeks tomorrow and I think I'm going insane. I've spent the past two weeks expecting to go into labor at any moment, experiencing every pre-labor sympton in the book except my water breaking or the urge to push. Now all my energy is spent and I've concluded that this baby is never going to come. (I know I'm not even at my due date yet, but my mental due date was a week ago) She's probably going to stay in my belly till she's 18 and moves into an apartment.
On another note, I'm still nesting like a crazy woman, and while cleaning out an old trunk of Todd's, I had to wonder why he's been holding on to this for the past 30 or so years:
He said it's to remember fondly the crap he used to get in his stocking. I think he should go ahead and make use of it on his business cards or something - no sense in wasting perfectly good personalized rainbow sticker tape :)

That is awesome! To bad he didn't pay us to name Ruth, Todd, then he could have given it to her as a gift and she would have rocked it!
ok I just read your kid speak and your kids are sooooo funny! Todd's shirt a bed sheet, and the fact that your 8 year old is criticizing your laundry skills! If I were 9 months pregnant and heard that I might have either laughed or put soap in her mouth, depending on which end of the mood swing I was in. HA HA! Oh and Claire is just to stinking cute for her own good!
Hang in there! Its the worst expecting at any moment. I think its best just to consign yourself to never going into labor then you're suprised when you do. Elaina was 2 weeks late, just think thats 4 weeks from now for you! I finally put 3 tbs of caster oil in Orange Juice and had her that night. Good luck- she wont be in there much longer.
Sorry you're about to explode. I was dreaming of another week, but Owen had different plans. All I can say is stock up on your sleep, because I am missing mine like crazy, and go everywhere you want to, because I have been in this house for a week and am going stir crazy. Good luck hopefully she'll come soon. Can't wait to hear what you name her.
Rainbow sticker tape??? Wow, you think they would only make that for girls. Gotta love stockings at the Bevans house.
Alli, you are 28 weeks right? That baby should come any time now, so hang in there. Get your butt in to the doctors office, and have them do an aggresive dialation check...that's what I do at this point :) You could have her here in the next 24 hours.
