and had a momentary thought that went something like: "What is the thrill in being a dork in public? I don't get it..." Then I remembered this:
as well as several other public incidents, including, but not limited to, dressing up like a boy, dressing up like a burrito, dressing up in a ridiculously too small spider man costume, hanging a rubber hand out the back of the trunk, making eye contact with the waitress and moving my mouth while Robyn looked away and ordered food, erasing the pants off people in my German textbook and coloring it in to look like bare butts, and others that I don't think my parents know about yet. I know I wasn't the only teenage dork out there (Lydia's outdone me by a mile at least), so fess up! How big of a public dork were you?

One time my friend and I sat in the mall making up voices and songs about the people that were walking by (eighth grade) One time in college four of my girl friends and I dressed like each other (I think it was for Halloween). I used to line dance quite a bit as well (hanging my head) I'm sure there is more however, I have probably blocked it out.
I think you defaced MY German book, too! I used to un-bend paper clips and form them into fake braces, then open my mouth real wide and stand on Applegate Street, just hoping people would drive by and notice that I was wearing braces.
I also wore jumpsuits w/socks and Tevas...(3 strikes). Member when you and I ordered a lot of crap from McDonalds in bad German? The longer I hung out w/you, the dorkier I got, come to think of it!
Um, have you forgotten our streak through the timberhill trails, falling and tripping in the many random mole holes?
Oh the places I have streaked with groups of people...

I have streaked also but just at girls camp! Once we made a "swimming pool" in the back of my dads truck with a tarp and filled it up and cruised around town sitting in the pool! I don't think I could count the number of times we would dance, yell, or sing things in strange places, We would pretend we were spies in the mall and sneak around corners, In college we went puddle jumping and ended up "slip n' sliding" on the football field on the grass. Sometimes we would yell someones name (usually someone who was "cool") and didn't know us and then just act like nothing had happened while they are wondering who called them. I had a friend who EVERY time my name was called for any kind of school thing (assemblies and such even graduation!!!) she would yell "UPM!" (This is short for Umpa Loompa!) I could tell you tons of other stupid things we would do for "fun" But I don't want to hog up all the room for others!
